Introduction

This helps you to set up a question list in your FAQ page.

A. Category

Category helps grouping questions in the same topic. In default, we have 2 categories which are popular for Shopify users. You can edit, add more and delete default questions & categories.

1. Add category

Click Add category to add a new category.

2. Set up category

Fill in all the information you want to set up

  • Category name: Title of Category displayed in the FAQ page
  • Position: Position of the Category in the FAQ page from top to bottom.
  • Icon: Select a relevant icon that helps users understand your content. We also support some other icons. Click View more to connect with us and check out other options.
  • Feature category: This helps you to list the category in the widget. If you feature 2 categories at the same time, the one with higher position will be placed above.

3. Save

Click Save to save your category. Now a new category is added in your FAQ list.

4. Publish & feature

  • By clicking Published, this category & all its questions will be displayed in the FAQ widget & FAQ page.

  • By clicking featured, this category will be displayed in the widget.

5. Edit category

Step 1: Hover on the category title and click on the Edit icon.

Step 2: Edit anything you want to

  • Category name: Title of the category
  • Position: When you select a position which is currently applied for another category, that category will be placed one down to its old position.
  • Icon: Icon that appears next to the category title.
  • Feature category: If you feature 2 categories at the same time, the one with higher position will be placed above.

Step 3: Click Save

6. Delete category

Step 1. Hover on the category title and click on the Delete icon.

Step 2. Click Delete to confirm

B. Question

1. Add question

Hover to the category you want to add questions, click on the icon .

2. Set up question

Fill in information for all the fields you want to:

  • Category: This category cannot be changed now. You can edit after creating questions.
  • Question: Your question. Note that we cannot translate your question by Translation feature.
  • Answer: Answer to your question. Note that we cannot translate your question by Translation feature.
  • Feature question: This helps you to list your question in the widget.

3. Save

Click Save to save your question. Now a new question is added in your FAQ list.

4. Publish & feature

  • By clicking Published, this question will be displayed in the FAQ widget & FAQ page.

  • By clicking Featured, this question will be displayed in the Article section in the widget.

5. Edit question

Step 1: Hover on the question title and click on the Edit icon.

Step 2. Edit anything you want to

  • Category: You can change the category of this question now
  • Question: Change your question
  • Answer: Change your answer to the question
  • Feature question: Hide/show question from the featured question list

Step 3: Click Save

6. Change position

You can change the position of the questions in the list by clicking the icon , dragging and dropping it in the same category.

7. Delete question

Step 1. Hover on the question and click on the Delete icon.

Step 2: Click Delete to confirm.
