How to set up Joy in POS
The point of sale (POS) is a place where customers come to, make purchases, and complete their transactions. This way is now widespread because of its convenience for both stores and buyers.
Instruction for app installation on the POS system
To install Joy into POS, go to POS > Add tile > Select Joy app > Add > Save
Instruction for payments on the POS system
Select Add Customer:
You just need to enter the customer's name into the search box and search for the exact name you want to pay.
The Joy block will display the reward points and available discounts for purchases.
Click Joy and select discounts to apply for the order.
FAQs
I add a customer in POS but it still says no program available. What is the error and what should I do?
This is a common question we receive from our customer. If you encounter this error, make sure that:
- You have subscribed to our Pro plan as POS integration is only available within this plan. If you are using the Joy Free plan, points will show as zero on POS.
- Customer has enough points to redeem and use the reward
- You have set up and enabled at least one redeem program for POS.
- You have successfully connected Joy from the POS system.
- Before being able to select any available program in Joy, you must first select the product and customer and ensure the Joy app is connected.
